Instruction for use
The daily dose of the product must be determined by the physician based on age, body weight and individual tolerance to phenylalanine. The standard dilution is 13 % (13 g of powder made up to a final volume of 100ml with water.
Only prepare one bottle at a time. Follow the preparation guidelines carefully:
Wash hands well.
Sterilize feeding equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Boil fresh water and leave to cool for no more than 30 minutes to ensure it remains at a temp erature of at least 70°C. Do not use artificially softened water or repeatedly boiled water.
Using the scoop provided, add the prescribed number of scoops of ANTIFEN START to the water. Do not press the powder into the scoop.
Add into the bottle the required amount of water to reach the indicated diluition.
Place the sterilized teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until all the powder has dissolved.
Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37°C.) Always test the temperature before feeding.
Any formula remaining in the bottle after 1 hour should be discarded.
Do not reheat ANTIFEN START once feeding has started.
